Wetlands 101 Class at Watershed Stewardship Center - August 22 - limited spaces available

Wetlands 101

Thursday August 22, 5:30 - 7 p.m.
  • Watershed Stewardship Center at West Creek (Upland Classroom)
  • Join Cleveland Metroparks' Wetland Ecologist as he discusses the important role that wetlands play in the park system. You'll learn about the ongoing research and monitoring that's helping the Natural Resources Division make management decisions and identify restoration targets. After a brief presentation we'll head outside and learn how to identify a wetland using vegetation, soil and hydrology indicators. Also receive an introduction to the Ohio Wetland Association.
