Sewer District’s Frank Greenland to be Featured Speaker at Rocky River Watershed Council Annual Meeting on January 23

On January 23rd, 2013, the Rocky River Watershed Council will be holding its annual meeting from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Nature Center, located in the Rocky River Reservation at 24000 Valley Parkway in North Olmsted.


This meeting will include the annual Board of Trustees and Chairperson elections, 2012 water quality updates, and a presentation on the recently completed Baldwin Creek Dam Removal.  Additionally, guest-speaker Frank Greenland, Director of Watershed Programs for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, will present on the District’s Stormwater Management Program and its related initiatives in the Rocky River Watershed, especially pertaining to Abram Creek.  Visit www.MyRockyRiver.org for a complete agenda.


Residents and other interested parties in the Rocky River Watershed are encouraged to attend to find out how they can become involved in the protection and restoration of the Rocky River and its tributaries.
