Rocky River Watershed - HELP PLANT TREES & RESTORE the FLOODPLAIN!

Reforestation Project Saturday, October 12.   9 a.m.  at Little Cedar Point Picnic Area, Rocky River Reservation (off Valley Parkway in Rocky River Reservation, north of Cedar Point Road in North Olmsted)

Join the Natural Resources efforts in restoring 2 acres of the Rocky River floodplain by planting 350 trees!

Staff lead, Constance Hausman, Ph. D., (Plant and Restoration Ecologist) has identified a variety of tree species and sizes to plant for habitat rehabilitation. Many hands are needed to come out and plant trees. To come fully prepared, please consider bringing shovels and gloves (optional), water (necessary) and a snack/lunch (beneficial).

For more information and to register, contact Dr. Hausman at ceh@clevelandmetroparks.com or call at 440-253-2164.
