The mission of the Rocky River Watershed Council is to protect, restore and perpetuate a healthy watershed through public education, watershed planning, communication and cooperation among stakeholders.

River cleanup season is upon us!  Please consider joining us at one of these upcoming cleanups in the Rocky River Watershed.  For all cleanups, trash bags will be provided.  Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear work boots or old shoes.  Long Sleeves, long pants and work gloves are recommended.  Children under 18 must have adult supervision. Annual Rocky River Main Stem Cleanup
June 2, 9:00 Am – Noon
Meet at the Scenic Park Picnic Area by the Emerald Necklace Marina in the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation
Sponsored by Cleveland Metroparks, Rocky River Watershed Council, Cuyahoga SWCD and the cities of Lakewood, Rocky River, and North Olmsted.  
Annual Champion Creek Cleanup
June 9, 8:30 AM – Noon
Meet at Medina Community Church, located at 416 S. Broadway in Medina.
Sponsored by the City of Medina, Rocky River Watershed Council, Western Reserve Land Conservancy, Medina County SWCD and the Medina Community Design Committee.
Also, Fall 2012 cleanups are being planned for Plum Creek in Brunswick and Abram Creek in Brook Park and Middleburg Heights!
