Buzzard Day at Reemer Lutheran

Cleveland Metroparks Adds Two New Wetlands to the "Emerald Necklace" in the Rocky River Watershed

 March 14 - Today, Cleveland Metroparks Board of Park Commissioners approved the acquisition of two new, crucial wetland properties to the Emerald Necklace. The properties, an undeveloped, 26-acre parcel on Engle Road in Middleburg Heights is adjacent to the Lake-to-Lake Trail and the 20-acre "Heron Rookery Wetland" in North Royalton which is along the East Branch of the Rocky River, enhance Cleveland Metroparks comprehensive ecosystem mission of conservation. Sewer District’s Frank Greenland to be Featured Speaker at Rocky River Watershed Council Annual Meeting on January 23

On January 23rd, 2013, the Rocky River Watershed Council will be holding its annual meeting from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Nature Center, located in the Rocky River Reservation at 24000 Valley Parkway in North Olmsted.

Ward 2 Councilwoman Patti Astorino will host a Stormwater Workshop at 7 p.m. January 31 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 6151 Smith Road.  The workshop will feature a representative from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
