Event Description

Hear and see the true story behind the massive fish-kill that occurred in April 2012 on the Rocky River near Bonnie Park in Strongsville. We know you’ll find “Fish Kill in Rocky River-A Watery Whodunit” very interesting and intriguing.
Mike Durkalec, Cleveland Metroparks Aquatic Biologist will share the details of the catastrophe, it’s destruction of fish, the criminal investigation and the prosecution results. Finally, we’ll learn of how “The Rocky” and its aquatic life are rebounding.
Trustees will be glad to answer questions you have about volunteer opportunities and membership in the Rocky River Watershed Council.
