The Rocky River Watershed Council’s Annual meeting, featuring speakers on the Wildlife of the Rocky River Watershed, will be held Thursday, January 29 at 7:00 PM at the Brunswick Library.
The Cleveland Metroparks’ Jennifer Brumfield will headline the presentations, highlighting the bird species that either make their home in the watershed or can be seen passing through during different seasons. She might even dole out some tips about when, where and how to spot some of the more interesting birds that can be found in the watershed. Fish of the Rocky River and its tributaries will be featured in talks by RRWC Board Member Mike Durkalec.
Additionally, the election of the RRWC Board of Trustees will be held, there will be a vote on changes to the by-laws, and attendees will get updates on activities throughout the watershed. Refreshments will be provided, and as always, all meetings of the Rocky River Watershed Council are free and open to the public!
