Event Description

Join us at our watershed-wide cleanup on Saturday, June 4!  We will be collaborating with several partners throughout the watershed to host stream cleanups at the following locations.  Participants should dress for the weather and wear work boots or old shoes, and bring gloves.  Trash bags will be provided.  Children under the age of 18 should have adult supervision.  Contact Rocky River Watershed Coordinator Jared Bartley at 216-524-6580 x14 or jbartley@cuyahogaswcd.org for additional information.

Abram Creek (Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport, Cuyahoga SWCD and the Cities of Brook Park and Middleburg Heights) - meet at Joe Konery Park off Leslie Dr. in Brook Park.  Starts at 10:00 AM.

Baldwin Creek, East Branch Rocky River & Coe Lake (City of Berea, Cuyahoga SWCD) - meet at the Coe Lake Pavilion behind Berea City Hall.  Starts at 9:00 AM.

Champion Creek (Western Reserve Land Conservancy, City of Medina) - Meet at Roscoe Ewing Park in Medina.  Starts at 10:00 AM.

Plum Creek (Brunswick Green Advisory Group, City of Brunswick) - Meet at the Susan Hambley Brunswick Nature Center.  Starts at 9:00 AM.

Rocky River Main Stem (Cleveland Metroparks, Ohio Central Basin Steelheaders, Emerald Necklace Chapter of TU, Cuyahoga SWCD and the cities of Lakewood, Rocky River, North Olmsted, Cleveland) - meet at the Scenic Park Picnic Area (next to the Emerald Necklace marina) in the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation.  Starts at 9:00 AM.
