Event Description

Noon – 3:00 PM

Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation (see attached map for project location)

Volunteers will assist in the installation of “soft” streambank stabilization practices along the East Branch of the Rocky River.  Bioengineering practices such as willow stakes and live fascines will be utilized to restore eroding streambanks, demonstrating practices that can be used throughout the watershed.  Participants should bring gloves, boots, eye protection and pruning shears.  Please email to jbartley@cuyahogaswcd.org to sign up.
