Restoring the Rocky River from the Comfort of Your Own Yard
Columbia Station, OH – Did you know that how you care for your yard can impact the quality of our local creeks and the Rocky River? Join Rocky River Watershed Council at Columbia Branch Library on Wednesday, October 28 at 6:30 PM to find out how you can contribute to the restoration of the Rocky River and its tributaries without leaving your yard! Rocky River Watershed Coordinator Jared Bartley and Good Nature Organic Lawn Care’s Dan Norris will discuss simple changes to the typical lawn care routine that will enhance local habitat and water quality. The program is free and open to the public, and snacks will be provided. Participants will also have the opportunity to find out how to get involved with watershed improvement activities in the community.
Columbia Branch Library is located at 13824 West River Rd. in Columbia Station.
